3/6/2013 4:47:51 PM I have made many changes to this computer. I received it from a relative, she had used it at her job. I was locked out of the origanal, operating system, so I upgraded to Windows 7 Pro. I installed the max ram and added 2 external hard drives. I have been running Windos 8 Pro, since I downloaded the evaluation version. I now have the full version of Windows 8 Pro. All things considered, the age of the computer and changes I've made, I'm quite pleases with thi machine.

6/20/2013 3:10:29 PM In the morniing first thing it automatically does system repair due to a very loud humming or whining noise that started 3 days ago. The first time it did the noise and system repair it also had to system restore itself as well. Once the system repair is done the noise stops but starts up again in the late afternoon.

8/7/2014 11:30:33 AM Bought this program to get rid of annoying adds that for some reason removed my start up Google Chrome allowing me to select my favorite sites, I now have to manually start each program like gmail. facebook etc. Your program didnot solve this annoying problesm.

8/19/2010 9:33:37 AM Here are the details of the problems that took me down last Friday. The issues listed below happen regularly and will only get worse if we upgrade to new Adobe software, especially if we are looking to start producing motion graphics. Programs I regularly have open all day Photoshop InDesign Outlook Acrobat Professional At least one internet browser but sometimes two or more – Firefox, IE, Chrome, Safari Programs I use sparingly Illustrator – but I have to be careful with it Adobe Bridge - but I do try to limit its use because it’s a memory hog Then of course I could have Word or Excel open to copy and paste data into one of my Adobe apps 1. When I first started having problems Allen helped me by changing something about the memory allocation on my system to try and increase its performance that did seem to help for a while. 2. A month or so later Allen and I had another conversation about using the server to access all my media files causing the slowness. So I attempted to use files locally on my internal drive to see if that increased the computers performance but it did not. 3. Adobe Illustrator regularly freezes up my computer and has caused me to lose hours of work on more than one occasion! So to use this program I have to close out at least two other Adobe applications which hinders my productivity. 4. My internet connection seems a little bit slow but that could be due to the amount of graphic files I access off of the server for each of my tasks. The main times my desktop likes to crash is when we are on a tight deadline and I could have say 8 or more files open in each one of my Adobe apps. Just like on Friday when I was having to make changes to all the files for the Jacksonville Conference and prepare graphics for the website. I was using Photoshop and InDesign to access several files and the system just couldn’t keep up. I had to force quit everything and try to restart which took me down for 30 minutes.
