Please note that Release Candidate 1 will expire June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you’ll need to install a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010.

Upgrade Options
Upgrade in-place option available, you can upgrade to Windows 7 and keep your applications, files, and settings.
Requires clean install, you need to format your hard drive to upgrade. We recommend using a program like CA's Desktop DNA Migrator or Windows Easy Transfer to move your data and settings before upgrading.

HomeGroup, a new feature in Windows 7, makes connecting the computers in your home a painless process.

You'll always have one-click access to available networks, regardless of whether those networks are based on Wi-Fi, mobile broadband, dial-up, or your corporate VPN.
Windows Touch
If you've got a touch-screen monitor, you can touch your computer screen for a more direct and natural way to work. Use your fingers to scroll, resize windows, play media, and pan and zoom.
