Windows XP makes heavy demands on video memory and requires a display resolution of at least 800 by 600 pixels. You may be able to switch to a higher-resolution display mode if your monitor and video card support it.

Also, if your video subsystem uses UMA memory (system RAM), you'll want more than the minimum required 64MB of system RAM. Finally, Windows XP's DVD player requires 8MB of video RAM.
